Jeff's Top Priorities

Reducing City Spending

We must review spending in every department and on every program. We have to decide what our budget priorities are.

Making City Hall More Friendly

Citizen involvement is the foundation of a successful government. By providing a place for citizens to express their concerns we can ensure that multiple perspectives will be heard. Working together, we can build a better future for Brookfield.

Protect and Improve our Neighborhoods

Safety, security, and preserving neighborhood quality are the top responsibilities of local government. We must find better ways of working with homeowners and businesses trying to renovate their properties. If the processes become a burden those improvements may not occur.

Work with Surrounding Communities

We need to work with our neighboring communities to find ways of delivering better services at lesser cost to the taxpayers.

Work More Closely With Business Groups

Businesses pay a large portion of Brookfield's taxes and use very few municipal services. The city must work closely with organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce to encourage businesses to stay, expand and move to Brookfield. Businesses should not have to move to other communities outside of Brookfield in order to be successful.

Maintaining Programs for Senior Citizen

Many of our senior citizens helped build this community we now enjoy. Their aid in the building of a strong foundation is partly because of their continued payment of taxes. I support the senior citizen programs and will fight to preserve them.
