Rules and Regulations:

 

• No contributions by corporations or cooperatives can be accepted.

• Contributions may only be accepted by a person of legal voting age, who is a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident.

• Contributions must be made from personal funds and not reimbursed by another person or entity.

• In Brookfield, the limit on an individual contribution to a candidate for Mayor is determined by a formula based on population and is currently $379.20. Contributors must give their name and address.

• If contributing more than $100, a contributor must also list his or her occupation and principal place of employment.
